Oh yeah, totally forgot about this blog thing..

My life has been so bi-polar, it's not understandable. Super ups, super downs.

Stefen turned 6, and started 1st grade. My little guy is growing up really, really fast. :(
But he starts T-ball on the 1st, which will be so much fun to go see him play.

Kaleb is getting really smart, and also really daring. Anything to test the limits, this boy will do. Guess he's more like me than I thought.

Taylor, was coming, but not anymore. Talk about an empty feeling inside. But, I've got my two little guys to grow up with. And that's what I always wanted.

Time to make some changes. Definitely can't go through this again. Ever.

Plus, this makes me feel even more special to have what I do have. It's not possible to cherish what is mine anymore than I already do. But this is a wake up call.

Adam needs to get his damn season tickets from the radio station. I want to go to a game too! (Now that his gf KM got his own tickets, it's better chances for me!)

Work has been super busy. 'Back To School' sucked. But the money should be nice. I've been able to show my true colors (and hustling side.) Maybe it wouldn't take too long to move up. Just don't want to move out of the store, I love this place. Except for the fact a lady tried to scam and rob me monday night. (But wasn't prepared enough for the fact that even though I look like an idiot, I'm actually not.) Getting out of work at 11:15 has got to end soon. I kind of like being home to see my guys.

Things can only get better from here. And they better, or I'll be changing pace.

I start Zumiez next week!

I got offered the 2nd assistant manager spot to start with at Zumiez. It's awesome!! Why not go back to that place, I loved working there before!

2 days left at CS. Then I'm "unemployed".. and for some strange reason I'm kind of excited for it!

Let's just hope that the fact that I failed the handbook test (4 out of 5 right) doesn't mess up me actually starting next week.. eek.

What a week..

Last week was full of so much. Good and bad.

-found out we get to extend the lease on the house!
Stefen get's to stay in his school..
and I get to keep walking him to school! Yay!

-saw the epitomy of "WTF" walking around the mall..

.. cherry blonde mullet. with full mustache to match. tight striped polo, all the way unbuttoned. forest of chest hair escaping. cut off daisy dukes. crew socks with torn up sneakers. wow.

-found out I'm losing my job on the 31st. f@ck GGP.

Hopefully it's hello Nordstrom!

-Real game with Stefen. I want season tickets!!
Awesome seats. Although they did lose.
0-2.

-Bees game! The first of many to come!
They were playing the Iowa Cubs, so there was a ton
of other Cubs fans there.. I loved it!
And best of all..
We got a home run ball that landed right behind us! Yay!

I wish..

That my opinion mattered.
That if I don't like someone, people would listen. I'm not one to dislike someone unless I have a legitimate reason. My intuition has never failed me.
That my boss wasn't such a greedy douche.
That the jerk who won't grow up would realize what a good thing he is missing out on. Friends are friends. But they aren't family.
I had a better job. $$ does matter..

the beginning of something wonderful!

Than you to the the amazing Mr. Anthony Anderson at Lost Art.
He never ceases to one up the ideas I bring into him.
I can't wait to get it colored, eeek!
2 weeks to go!
The humming birds are my mom and pops, the ladybugs are my boys, the day lilly is for Christen, and the bell is for my Gma.

4.26.09

I haven't posted for a bit.. seeing as nothing much has happened.

The boy's have been totally awesome this past week. As usual. And Kaleb is mimicing me when I sing, especially "ya ya ya." Stefen is getting close to being 6. Talk about time going way too fast!! Adam is rooting for the Cubs, which is all he needed to be perfect. haha :)

The Cubs are winning the game today, all cause I'm sporting my Harden jersey. Yay Cubs!
Stupid Jazz, getting back to how it was in the late 90's, keeping us used to losing.

I get tattooed at 5 on Tuesday, eeeek! I'm so excited! I'll totally post up about that!

Me and BFF just saw a living version of Groucho Marks. Wow. At least least he didn't have the peach fuzz mustache a guy had on earlier. It matched his peach fuzz eyebrows. eeew. Sunday's at the mall are always full of fashion "oh god no's"...

This will be wonderful.. Thanks GGP!

General Growth Properties Files Record Real Estate Bankruptcy

General Growth Properties, the nation's second-largest US shopping mall owner, has filed what is the largest real estate bankruptcy in US history, Bloomberg News reports.
More details from the AP:
General Growth Properties Inc., the nation's second-largest mall operator, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection early Thursday after it failed to persuade a majority of its debt holders to give it more time to refinance billions of dollars in debt racked up during the housing boom.
The news sent the real estate investment trust's stock down 60 cents, or 57 percent, to 45 cents in electronic premarket trading. Its stock traded last spring as high as $44.23.
The move by the Chicago-based company had been widely anticipated since the fall, when the company warned it might have to seek bankruptcy protection if it didn't get lenders to rework its debt terms. Efforts to negotiate with its unsecured and secured creditors ultimately fell short late last month.
"While we have worked tirelessly in the past several months to address our maturing debts, the collapse of the credit markets has made it impossible for us to refinance maturing debt outside of Chapter 11," Chief Executive Adam Metz said in a statement.
Chapter 11 protection typically allows a company to hold off creditors and operate as normal while it develops a financial reorganization plan.
The company had about $29.6 billion in assets and more than $27 billion in liabilities as of Dec. 31, according to documents filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in the Southern District of New York.
The company noted that some subsidiaries, including its third party management business and joint ventures, were not part of the bankruptcy petition.
General Growth said it intends to reorganize with the aim of cutting its corporate debt and extending the terms of its mortgage maturities. It also said it will continue operating all of its shopping centers during the bankruptcy process.
The company said shoppers at its malls will not be affected by its decision to file for bankruptcy protection.
"Our restructuring will be invisible to the customers who visit our properties every day," President and Chief Operating Officer Thomas H. Nolan Jr. said during a morning conference call.
The company said it received a financing commitment from Pershing Square Capital Management LP of about $375 million that General Growth expects to use to operate during the bankruptcy process.
General Growth, which has a stake in more than 200 malls across 44 states, has seen its fortunes sour as the U.S. economy worsened and the credit markets froze, leaving it hard-pressed to refinance the billions in debt the company took on during an aggressive expansion effort that included the $7 billion purchase of a competitor in 2004.
Last month, General Growth said it got lenders to waive default on a $2.58 billion credit agreement until the end of the year.
But its Rouse Co. subsidiary failed to convince enough holders of unsecured notes worth $2.25 billion as of Dec. 31 to accept a proposal that would let the unit avoid penalties for being behind on its debt payments and give it some time to refinance its debt load.
In February, the company reported lower-than-expected fourth-quarter funds from operations and a dip in revenue amid weaker retail rents.
The company has suspended its dividend, halted or slowed nearly all development projects and cut its work force by more than 20 percent. It also has sold some of its non-mall assets.
- - -
General Growth plans to keep all of the shopping centers open during bankruptcy, the Tribune reports.

Now comes the fun part of Mall walkers asking non-stop of what is going to happen next. Even if I knew, I wouldn't tell you. I rather like having ajob.

Easter!

Started off with these awesome baskets Christen helped me make.
They loved them! Stefen made sure the sticky hand really did stick to any and everything.. Which it did.
And all Kaleb cared for was the empty eggs. Haha. That kid and simplicity..

Then it was off to the grandparents for Easter baskets and treasure filled eggs.. But we learned the eggs were stolen. So Secret Agents Stefen and Paris went on the hunt for the eggs. And the gorillas who stole them..

Secret Agent Kaleb was a pro at finding the eggs..

Then a party with the family for two oh so amazing ladies..

Thanks for the cake pops!

And thanks for the card, mom. It was perfect, it read: "Daughter- May the sun shine on your face, may the wind be at your back, and may every road... Lead to the Mall!" hahaha. She couldn't resist.

Well put Mr. Congreve

"Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, Nor hell a fury like a woman scorned."

Let the games begin.

Mwhahaha.

Perfect day with my babies!

A trip to the park can really help you forget everything else in the world.

The energy they have is addicting! And also exaughsting!

(ps. my birthday is in 6 days! eeek!)

Sure it's pretty now..

Nothing you can buy from the mall will make you feel as good as you will while hiding away next to these.

Sure expensive things here will make you feel good while you're buying them. But the things that do not change and keep coming back not matter what the trends are, will never let you down.. Or give you buyers remorse.

A Saturday..

Begins with Disney Channel with my babies,

then a trip to Target.

Getting ready for work.

Being bombarded with "Mine Mine Mine!!" for 6 hours.
along with customers trying to demote me to no self esteem what-so-ever (although it didn't work, ha!)

Missing my babies.

Watching people race for soft seating chairs. And then glaring at the winners. As if they had just won the lottery. (It's soft seating, covered in bacteria, why would you want to sit on it??)

Missing my babies.

Coffee with BFF.

Going home and waiting for the boys to come home from playing. Yay!

Friday, April 3, 2009

Your Team!

Yay for people watching!

Makes work go by a whole lot faster..

omg, is fresh princess really wearing that?

Wednesday, April 1, 2009

My boys..

There is nothing like laying on the floor with them. They keep me smiling. And they add to the list of why I'm better than you.

Either of these places will be wonderful!:

Not so perfect weather brings out the not so perfect people..

Took this on my way into work.

No clue to why it distorted itself, but that's a perfect example of how it felt driving in the awesome snow. Thank you Utah weather.

Hopefully it'll keep people from shopping today though. Eh, eh?
